| Q. How can I make my workplace / business more accessible to Deaf people who use British Sign Language? |
A. By booking our British Sign Language Awareness Trainer for a free one or two hour session |
| Q. Why is it free? |
A. In 2003 the British Government recognised British Sign Language as an official language and is funding these sessions. |
| Q. What will staff get out of the sessions? |
A. They will be more confident when communicating with Deaf people and will be able to use some basic finger spelling |

A. Fill in the tear off part of this form and return it to North Wales Deaf Association today |
BENEFITS

- Staff will gain an awareness of the rights of Deaf people under the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
- Staff will be able to make sure Deaf people can access your goods and services through their own and preferred language
