North Wales Deaf Association's new information unit has arrived from the manufacturers and its looking great.

North Wales Deaf Association will be holding an Information Celebration Day on Wednesday, 25th February, 2009 at Venue Cymru, The Promenade, Llandudno from 10 am to 4 pm.

We are looking for volunteers to help out on the mobile unit at various venues, especially the busy supermarkets and this season's agricultural shows.

A new service has been unveiled by North Wales Police which provides an added way for people who are Deaf or deafened to contact police.

An SMS text message can now be sent to the Police by members of the community who are Deaf, deafened, hard of hearing or who are speech impaired.
